![]() ![]() NoScript also provides the most powerful anti-XSS and anti-Clickjacking protection available in a browser.Ī unique whitelist-based pre-emptive script blocking approach prevents exploiting security vulnerabilities (known and unknown yet!) with no functionality loss. The problem improved but we are still getting multiple crashes a day on the client side.NoScript is an Open Source add-on/extension that provides extra protection for Firefox, Chrome, Flock, Seamonkey, and other Mozilla or Chromium-based browsers. The problem was way more pronounced, and so I reverted to just using one device with minimal deviation for the defaults. The only other thing I should mention is that we had two Netgate 6100 setup with high availability and CARP in the past. I’m starting to worry that the new equipment is not going to work out. ![]() Is that even possible? The purchase of the Netgate equipment was my idea to improve the speed of our existing OpenVPN server. Is anyone else experiencing this? The only thing I can think of is trying to go back to an older version of the firewall software. All settings are default as much as possible. I ran the welcome wizard to set the firewall up and then ran the OpenVPN wizard. There is absolutely nothing fancy going on in the firewall configuration. The problems occurs on both 23.09.1 and the version previous, (23.09.0?). Interestingly, those same computers are able to maintain a stable connection to our old OpenVPN server. One of the computers had Windows reinstalled prior to testing. I have been testing this on five remote computers at three remote locations and it’s the same behaviour on all five but to varying degrees. It seems 2.5.9-I圆01 is even more unstable compared to 2.6.7-Ix001. Sometimes I need to reboot the computer before GUI will start back up again. It seems like the OpenVPN GUI on the client side is very unstable, it keeps crashing. I’m having a really hard time getting a stable OpenVPN connection working. ![]() This is a brand new install, first time using pfSense and pfSense as an OpenVPN server. ![]()
